SEPTEMBER - EPISODE IX: FALL 2018

-->
WISDOM OF THE SAGES
EPISODE IX: FALL 2018
Hello People of the World;

Don’t worry everybody, I’m here.

 All right, let’s get going:

1:[ So, I have been reading ”The Future Home of the Living God” by Louise Erdrich, a quasi-sci fi tale about a time when reproduction has began to regress and birthing has become controlled and outlawed.

Why would perfection create perfection? It only seems perfect because of the multitude of failures to reach this point…

Regression or environmental survival?

2:[ Looking at all the wine delivery ads, it is amazing how much we to and yet disguise America’s alcoholism….

3:[ Our Pets Are Our Love Slaves: Remember when everyone was pissed off about GMOs? Yeah, until science showed that genetically modified foods were not bad for you at all. In fact, you’ve eaten bananas all your life and your fucking fine. But if there is a genetically modified organism we should be up in arms about – it’s our dogs. We have specifically bred them to be our fucking Love Slaves.

Don’t get me wrong, I have pets and I do care for them a lot.

4:[ Why does everyone want part of the “Native Pie”? It seems like almost everyone would either, completely ignore Native American people and their issues and the struggles throughout history or they want a slice of that Native Cultural Authority Pie. “See, I know about Natives.”

5:[ The Thanos Worldview – If you are one of these idiots that believe that Thanos had a great idea in “Avengers: Infinity War” about killing half the population of the universe to balance resources, then, you should be one of the first people to offer to kill yourself for the sake of others – otherwise you are just another “I Want More For Me” Privileged Jackass….

That is it for this month.

My apologies for not posting last month. I know you all await with baited breath to read my ramblings on the news of the day. But, as I was trying to point out in the writings from last month (See below), moving is hard. It is so distracting and all-consuming that I had suffered at my jobs, making time and hours works. It was rough but I am now safely stowed at the ex-wife’s abode for now.

As always, I invite you to comment, correct, or contradict anything I write here. I am open to a critical debate. Thanks for taking the time to check out what I write here and I will see you in a month.

Until next time, remember “I try to show the schemers how pathetic their attempts to control everything really are.”

AUGUST - EPISODE VIII: SUMMER 2018

WISDOM OF THE SAGES
EPISODE VIII: SUMMER 2018
PLACEHOLDER TEXTHello People of the World;

Yeah, yeah, weather jibber-jabber. Earth turns. Seasons too fast for you. You get it.

 All right, let’s get going:

1:[ Pet Peeve: I hate it when baristas act like they know you because they know you name and try to act like they are your friend because they only learned your name because you could not get your drink otherwise and I hate that they try to be overly-friendly and especially that some how give them the excuse to give you crappy service and when you are frustrated by their shitty service, that you are the one with the attitude.

2:[ Mission Impossible: Fallout – The best of the series so far [More to Come]

3:[ So, I got my art back from the American Indian Center show last month “[The] Native Art Seen”. I want to reuse the mounting board so I am going to give away the eight pieces that I printed up to the first people who ask for one. They are eight postcard-sized images from my digital art series “An Earnest Self-portrait” that all have text quotes on them that express my ideas on Native American art. So, we’ll see if I can give away Native American art….

4:[ “BlacKKKlansman” is Spike Lee’s return to form, I think it is easily one of the Best of 2018 [More to Come[

5:[ I am working on a video version of my “Wind River” Review. You can read that here.

6:[ One of the strongest pieces of writing comes from that evil fuck face Sherman Alexie’s biography of his mother in a chapter titled “Abu Ghraib”. [More to Come]

7:[ Moving has not been easy, especially when you have accumulated over ten years worth of junk and nonsense. Why do we get so sentimental over broken fans when things change? I stayed up until 5:30 in the morning packing and sorting. I have only two days before I need to leave (At the time of writing). I hope I can do it. I’m so sleepy right now. I still have to go to work at my second job.
