EPISODE VI: SUMMER 2020

Hello People of the World;

Once again, I forgot to post on time. These times. These times. Anyways. The temperature is rising because, hey,what- it’s summer. Yeah. No one is complaining about the weather these days. They are fucking crying about wearing a tiny strip of a mask to keep people from dying. Fucking babies.

Plus, there are still protests against police brutality and for police abolishment going on and we should not forget that. Black Lives Matter.

As always: Stay safe. Stay home.

All right, let’s get going:

1:[ This virus really showed how equal we all really are. There is really no class or social structure that keeps people safe from a virus. Which is why all these fuckheads want to re-open again – to reaffirm the caste system, to be better than the folks serving and bagging your food. I mean, that's all it really is. Right? You don't want to be equal to the brown people. Sheesh. Humans are dumb….

2:[ “Da 5 Bloods” Review: It was fine. Spike Lee has done better work. It was stereotypical in its portrayal of Asians, particularly, Vietnamese. The performances were fine. I did like the decision to NOT de-age the actors. But the ending was overblown action showdown nonsense that overpowered the message…

3:[ I am running a Movie Club. Once a week I show a film in my vast collection online. We are stuck at Ozu. It seems like no one wants to watch a film by Ozu. Pity….

4:[ This Phase 3 Re-opening just made the world miserable again with the traffic and the people crowding spaces. Man, just stay at home. As an introvert, I loved the staying in, working from home, rarely going out and interacting. But no. The world is just miserable again thanks to the re-open babies....

5:[ This virus really revealed how much décor makes a restaurant. All places, no matter how fancy, are just rooms with tables where people can eat….

6:[ We cannot go back to “Normal” all after this. The normal we had was slowly killing people. As opposed to the explicit way it is killing people now….

 

That is it for this month.

Take what you will from this month’s edition. You know the virus is still out there. Right? It hasn’t ended. I hate seeing folks I think are smart, who’ve complained about the virus still being around, STILL going out and gathering in groups. It’s dumb. Wear a mask at the very least. Stay home is the best course. It’s not over by a long shot.
